Mostafa Moeini Arani, the representative of Kashan, Aran and Bidgol in the parliament, in a virtual meeting of the parliament, called the state of hijab “a deep wound on the body of society.”
He said: “All of these abnormalities in the streets hurt the heart of every man and woman of honor.” Moeini Arani added: “Silence in the face of this process means the collapse of the sanctity of the family and of ethical values.”
Moeini Arani also, in the next part, asked Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the speaker of the parliament, to “communicate the Hijab and Chastity law” to Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of the Islamic Republic.
Mohammad Seraj also said in this meeting that “malicious elements” have become active to “promote immodesty,” and added: “Society should not be left to its own devices.”
