🔻Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, on the eve of his team’s match against Monaco, praised the club’s performance in the transfer market and called it “exceptional.”
🔹Enrique, on Thursday, at a press conference ahead of the game against Monaco, said that Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Luis Campos, the club’s sporting director, had delivered “incredible” performances and emphasized that Paris Saint-Germain signed players who had been on its target list from the start. He also thanked the players who had left, including Lee Kang-in, Gonçalo Ramos, Ibrahim Amabaye, and especially Bradley Barcola.
🔹Speaking about Barcola’s transfer, Enrique said that the player wanted a bigger role and more playing time; a request he could not guarantee. Enrique added that, given that only two years remained on Barcola’s contract, his departure was accepted by the club.
🔹Enrique believes the presence of Magnes Akliush, Fran Torres, and Mika Godds gives him more options in the attacking line. After two draws against Reims and Lille, Paris Saint-Germain is looking for a win against Monaco; a match that Enrique said is important, but not decisive in the championship race.
