Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said the Israeli army is ready, if ordered, to complete the destruction of Hamas.

The Israeli defense minister said: “Everyone knows Hamas will not be disarmed through a ceasefire deal.”

Yisrael Katz also added: “Rafah and 70 percent of Gaza are uninhabited, the tunnels have been destroyed, and the Israeli army is deployed at dozens of positions along the Yellow Line—a region that protects the residents of Israeli settlements.”

He also continued: “The Israeli army kills many militants every week and removes the threats.”

Yisrael Katz added: “All these actions were carried out within the framework of a defined ceasefire that led to the release of all hostages; an action of great value for all Israelis. At the same time, the United States and partner countries have committed to disarm Hamas and destroy all tunnels.”
