Today (Wednesday), Israeli army soldiers secured the entry of Israeli police and a civilian into the village of al-Mughayir. The entry was carried out to facilitate the return of livestock belonging to Israeli non-combatant civilians, which had been found in the area of the village. The animals were identified based on distinguishing marks indicating they belonged to Israeli non-combatant civilians. During the forces’ activity in the area, a violent riot broke out, in which terrorists threw concrete blocks and stones at the forces. The forces responded by firing at key instigators to remove the threat. Bullet impacts were identified. The events leading to this incident, as well as its management, are under review.
