🔺An Israeli minister confirmed the deployment of the Iron Dome system in the UAE ▪The Israeli minister of transportation and roads confirmed that at the beginning of the war with the Islamic Republic, Israel had sent an Iron Dome system to the United Arab Emirates; an action that no member of Israel’s cabinet had previously stated publicly. ▪He said that the UAE had realized that ballistic missiles were “one of the biggest challenges.” He is the first Israeli official to openly confirm the dispatch of this defensive system to the UAE. ▪In April, Axios, citing three Israeli and U.S. officials, wrote that after talks with the UAE’s president, Israel’s prime minister ordered the dispatch of an Iron Dome system along with interceptors and dozens of Israeli operational personnel to the UAE.
