The Israeli army announced that in two attacks last week in the Gaza Strip, Muhammad Najib Aashour, a commander of a company from Hamas’s military wing, and also Tamer Saeed Abu Nakhla, a commander of a cell in Hamas’s military wing, were killed. These two men, who played a role in carrying out attacks against Israeli army forces, were considered a threat to the forces and were therefore killed in precise strikes. Before carrying out these attacks, measures were taken to reduce harm to civilians; including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. The Israeli army emphasized that forces under the command of the Southern Front, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement, remain deployed in this area and will continue operations to eliminate any immediate threat.
