The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) threatened the countries hosting U.S. forces in the region, saying they should be “ready to receive a corresponding response,” and asked them to activate their non-civilian defense units.
In a statement, the IRGC claimed that, during an operation it called “Nasr 2,” it targeted and destroyed the gathering of U.S. forces at the Arifjan support center and the radar of the Al-Salem base in Kuwait.
The IRGC also accused the United States of “war crimes” and of attacking civilian infrastructure.
In recent days, the IRGC has attacked at least six Arab countries in the region on the pretext of hosting U.S. forces.
