🔶 Iran Human Rights: At least 100 protesters are at risk of execution
Iran Human Rights said in a report on Monday, 23 Shahrivar, that at least 100 people among those detained during the protests of Dey 1404 are facing the risk of being executed.
Based on data collected by Iran Human Rights, the report includes only documented cases in 13 provinces. The organization emphasized that since the protests of Dey 1404 involved all 31 provinces of Iran, the actual number of protesters at risk of execution could be higher than the cases recorded.
Among the 100 documented cases, 5 individuals were under 18 at the time of the alleged offense, and 5 are women.
Iran Human Rights says that since 28 Esfand 1404, the Islamic Republic has executed 31 protesters.
According to the organization, 29 of those executed were detained in connection with the protests of Dey 1404, and two others were protesters from the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement.
During this same period, 13 political prisoners affiliated with banned opposition groups were executed, and 14 others were also executed on charges of espionage or cooperation with foreign governments.
