Fathima Soltani’s husband, one of the slain from Dey 1404, has released a video of singing at her tomb and written: “I’m sitting beside your grave, not with defeat, with a vow that is still alive. You’re gone, but hope didn’t go, and we’ll continue—stronger than ever—until sunrise.” Fathima Soltani, 32, a mother of two children, was killed on 18 Dey 1404 by gunfire from government agents in Esfarayen.
