🔶Donald Trump: When will the people of Iran rise up and fight?
Donald Trump, the U.S. president, amid rising tensions and retaliatory attacks between Iran and the United States, late Tuesday, 10 Shahrivar (September 1), announced on the social network "Truth Social" that, contrary to reports from the network "ABC," he does not intend to pressure the Islamic Republic into returning to the negotiating table.
Trump wrote that the signing of a deal—which, according to him, is "worthless" to the Iranian government—does not matter to him, and that the current position of the United States is preferable to reaching an agreement.
In the next part of his message, the U.S. president wrote: "The United States almost has complete control of the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran's economy is also completely collapsing." He described the current situation of the Islamic Republic as part of an unavoidable process.
At the end of his message, Trump addressed the people of Iran and asked: "When are the people of Iran supposed to rise up and fight?"
Trump sent this message at a time when tensions between the United States and Iran have been intensifying more than at any point before.
