Donald Trump, President of the United States, said at the White House that there are two options before the United States: continuing military action with greater intensity or reaching an agreement through negotiations.
Mohammad Qaeedi, a lecturer in international relations at George Washington University, told Iran International that Trump’s threats should be taken seriously and that although his remarks indicate a firm resolve to confront the Islamic Republic, his preference is still to achieve an agreement through negotiations before the scope of the war expands.
