🔸Diesel fuel prices in the United States hit a fresh record, rising to more than five and a half dollars per gallon.

🔸The American Automobile Association announced on Friday, 13 Shahrivar, that the price of diesel fuel in this country is currently at five dollars and 85 cents per gallon, while a year ago it was three dollars and 71 cents.

🔸Each gallon is about 3.8 liters.

🔸The association attributed this price increase to disruptions in fuel transportation due to the United States’ war with Iran.

🔸Diesel fuel is considered a vital fuel used in road transport, agriculture, and construction, and there are fears that the sharp increase in its price will raise the inflation rate.

🔸The price of regular gasoline in the United States is also four dollars and 15 cents per gallon.

🔸JD Vance, the U.S. vice president, had also said in recent days that Iran’s attacks on commercial vessels have caused this increase in gasoline prices.

🔸When asked on September 3 about when gasoline prices would return to about three dollars per gallon, he said he cannot predict such a time.
