Continuing to investigate the nationwide protests of Dey 1404, the images and information received from South Khorasan by Iran International show that dozens of students at Birjand University—who had formed the first gatherings—have been targeted with interference, summoned, and expelled from the university.

The protests in South Khorasan began on Dey 12 and then spread to at least six counties.
