Brigadier Sharzad Zomiri, a commander in FARAJA and deputy of FATA Police in Razavi Khorasan, was arrested on Bahman 6 by the IRGC Intelligence on charges of helping protesters on the nights of Dey 18 and 19.

He spent 43 days in solitary confinement and has been deprived of contact and visits for more than two months. He has not been allowed to choose a lawyer and is still being held in Vakilabad prison in Mashhad without any clear outcome.
