🔶 Benjamin Netanyahu: The Islamic Republic is on the verge of collapse

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, claimed that “the Islamic Republic is on the verge of collapse” and that the Iranian-backed axis would ultimately fall apart.

Netanyahu made these remarks from the Golan Heights in Syrian territory; an area that the Israeli army has controlled since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government in late 2024.

The Israeli prime minister said that his country would not allow any “terrorist army” to be stationed along its borders.

The remarks apparently refer to the buffer zone under Israeli control in Syria.

Netanyahu said preventing the deployment of such forces at the border is one of Israel’s most important achievements in the war that he calls the “War of Resurrection”—a label he uses for the multi-front war following Hamas’s attacks on October 7, 2023.

Netanyahu said that there is still more to be done and that Israel’s “main mission” is to defeat the Islamic Republic.

He claimed: “We are very close to it. We know that the entire axis will eventually fall apart.”

The Israeli prime minister added: “We are committed to doing this, and we will carry it out.”
