Baqer Mousavi, a photographer and environmental activist, wrote on Monday, 16 Shahrivar, after publishing images of the Hoor Al-Azim wetland that after months of drought in the Iranian part of the wetland, some water has been sent to it again and, with the return of the water, Eurasian otters have also reappeared.

He expressed hope for the survival of the species and the restoration of its habitat, writing: “Seeing them again in the waters of the Hoor Al-Azim means there is still hope alive.”
