At least 11 people were killed in the collapse of a building in Gaza, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

The six-story building was damaged by Israeli strikes. Rescuers have been trying since early morning to reach dozens of people who remain trapped under the rubble. Rescue efforts are being hampered by a severe shortage of machinery.
