Asia’s imports of petroleum products in Mordad reached their lowest level since the start of the war between the United States and the Islamic Republic, because supply from the Persian Gulf region remains partly blocked.

Based on data from Kpler, cited by Reuters, imports of light and middle distillate products to Asia in this month were estimated at 5.1 million barrels per day, compared with 5.61 million barrels in Tir.

The three-month average before 9 Esfand, the day when U.S. and Israeli attacks on positions of the Islamic Republic began, was 7.06 million barrels per day. That means imports have fallen by about 2 million barrels per day.
