🔹 Amnesty International said in a report of more than 1,000 pages published today that Iranian officials committed crimes against humanity to suppress the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising in 1401.

Based on this report, titled “Architects of Crime,” Iranian security forces unlawfully killed hundreds of protesters and bystanders, including 56 children.

Amnesty International has documented the deaths of 377 people. Kurdish and Baloch communities, despite having a smaller share of the population, account for 62% of the victims.

The report also reports widespread arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, torture, sexual assault, and harassment of families of the victims. Amnesty International examined the chain of command for these crimes and referred 87 officials for criminal investigations.

The organization calls for immediate action by the international community, including referring Iran’s situation to the International Criminal Court and creating an independent judicial mechanism to end impunity.
