Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Friday Prayer Imam of Mashhad, said in the sermons of Friday prayers in this city: “Defense against the enemy’s aggression is not limited to a specific time; how long should we defend? 10 years? 20 years? No—200 years, 300 years, and for as long as the enemy fights with us, we must defend ourselves. If the enemy fights us for 200 years, 2,000 years, or even 200,000 years, then we must defend ourselves.”

Alamolhoda continued: “It is not the case that the enemy wants to fight us and we give everything we have to the enemy and step aside. In this country, who would accept that when the enemy comes and fights, you give him everything and just stand by?”
