🔶 Abdolhamid’s Address to the Government: Free Political Prisoners
Molavi Abdolhamid, the Sunni Friday prayer leader in Zahedan, called for the release of political prisoners in the Friday prayer sermons on 19 Tir (10 July) and described the country’s economic situation as “catastrophic.”
This prominent Sunni cleric in Iran said that economic pressures on the people have increased sharply and that inflation and high prices are rampant in the country.
Abdolhamid also, referring to the consequences of war, said that war in today’s world is different from wars of the Middle Ages and, in an era of human progress, comes with widespread destruction and ruin.
He added that war, in addition to financial and human losses, has caused extensive damage to Iran, neighboring countries, and even the international community.
