A Saudi Arabia-led military coalition announced the Houthi missile and drone attacks on Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif on Monday, 23 Shahrivar, injuring 13 civilians and damaging seven houses and two vehicles.

Turkey Al Maliki, the coalition’s spokesman, accused the Houthis of carrying out deliberate attacks on civilian targets and said the coalition forces would respond to these attacks “responsibly and decisively” to protect the sovereignty of Saudi Arabia.

At the same time, Bloomberg reported that Saudi Arabia has asked Britain for help in confronting the Houthis. Riyadh requested assistance to push the Houthis back from the Bab al-Mandab Strait and to defend its oil infrastructure.

According to the report, Andy Burnham, the UK prime minister, agreed to send military advisers to Saudi Arabia, but has not yet decided on further assistance.

The report was published after Axios said that Mohammad bin Salman had asked Donald Trump to target the Houthis, but Trump rejected the request. CNN also reported that more than 100 U.S. military advisers in Saudi Arabia provide targeting information and support to Riyadh.
