🔺 Presence of an Iranian banking and agriculture delegation from the Islamic Republic in technical talks in Doha ◾ The Islamic Republic’s delegation, composed of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Central Bank, and the Ministry of Agriculture-Jihad, has taken part in technical discussions mediated by Qatar and Pakistan; and that, at a time when officials of the Islamic Republic had rejected any talks with the United States until a day earlier. ◾ This development occurred after Donald Trump said that the Islamic Republic itself wanted dialogue with American negotiators. ◾ The Islamic Republic’s delegation, made up of representatives of the Central Bank and the Ministry of Agriculture-Jihad, indicates that the way in which the release, transfer, and spending of its blocked assets in Qatar in exchange for agricultural products is the focus of these negotiations.
