👉 The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the armed forces of this country have concluded a new round of military attacks against Iran with the aim of reducing the ability to target commercial ships and non-military sailors in the Strait of Hormuz

“CENTCOM” said that U.S. forces on Wednesday, 17 Tir, targeted about 90 Iranian military positions. According to the announcement by this organization, these targets included air defense systems, coastal control facilities, missile and drone storage centers, naval capabilities, and military logistical infrastructure along the coasts of Iran.

This military organization said that these attacks were carried out after U.S. forces the night before had also carried out a set of “successful” offensive attacks inside Iran.

CENTCOM emphasized that on Tuesday, 16 Tir, U.S. forces had also targeted about 80 military targets in Iran, including more than 60 boats of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). CENTCOM emphasized that the purpose of these attacks was to impose “heavy costs” on Tehran after Iran, by attacking three commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, had “violated the ceasefire.”
