SpaceX added 23 more Starlink satellites to orbit on a mission that lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, extending the company’s broadband constellation in low Earth orbit. The launch was completed without reported issues, according to Reuters.
The Falcon 9’s first stage also returned successfully, touching down on the drone ship Just Read the Instructions in the Atlantic Ocean. The landing marked another recovery for SpaceX’s reusable rocket program, which has become a central part of the company’s launch strategy.
Starlink is SpaceX’s satellite internet network, designed to provide connectivity in areas with limited or no traditional broadband access. Each new launch expands the system’s coverage and capacity as the constellation continues to grow.
The mission underscores how rapidly SpaceX continues to pair satellite deployment with booster reuse, a combination that has helped lower launch costs and increase flight frequency across its space operations.
