🔶 Kuwait reports new drone attacks from Iran

The Kuwaiti Joint Staff announced on Thursday, July 16 (Tir 25) that the country has again been targeted by drone attacks from Iran.

The Kuwaiti army said the country’s air defenses are dealing with “enemy drone attacks” that, according to it, were carried out following “Iran’s criminal aggression.”

A reporter from AFP reported hearing the sound of several explosions in Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti Joint Staff said the explosions were the result of intercepting drones by air-defense systems.

Kuwait had previously also reported drone attacks from Iran earlier on Thursday morning.

Iran’s army said it targeted radar facilities, a Patriot air-defense system, and fuel storage depots at the Ali Al-Salem air base, where American forces are located in Kuwait.

According to Iran, American military facilities in Bahrain and Jordan were also the target of the attack.
