👈 Gas price rises after an attack on a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz 🔴 Gas and oil prices in Europe increased after reports of an attack on an LNG-carrying vessel (liquefied natural gas) near the coasts of Oman and as it exited the Strait of Hormuz. 🔴 Europe’s benchmark natural gas price rose by more than 4.5% and, by 07:05 Greenwich Mean Time, reached 46 euros ($52.5) per megawatt-hour, offsetting the losses from the previous session. 🔴 Oil prices also moved higher; Brent crude, the international benchmark, rose by 1.2% and reached about $73 per barrel, its highest level in the past week. ✅
