🔶 Israel’s foreign minister: Fidan’s remarks are incitement to the genocide of Jews Gideon Saar, Israel’s foreign minister, criticized the latest remarks by Hakan Fidan and called the Turkish foreign minister’s statements a classic example of “incitement to the genocide of Jews.” In a television interview, Fidan had said that Israel was a “heavy burden” that “humanity can no longer bear.” The Turkish foreign minister also described Israel as a “problem for the world.” In response, Israel’s foreign minister on Thursday, July 2 (11 Tir), posted a message on the X (formerly Twitter) social network, saying while criticizing Fidan: “Dehumanizing Jews under the label of a ‘burden that is unbearable’ is classic and horrific language from the worst exterminating regimes in history.” In his message, he added: “The civilized world and Turkey’s allies in the NATO pact must unequivocally condemn this blatant call for the elimination of Israel.”
