Zakani, Tehran’s mayor, says that no one can decide to shut down the “night gatherings” of government supporters except “Majtaba Khamenei.” Although, on the opposite side, part of the government that supports negotiations and an end to the wartime situation strongly opposes these gatherings, and both factions are currently testing each other’s strength over this issue.
