Vladimir Putin, according to a Bloomberg report citing sources close to the Kremlin, is not willing to compromise to end the war in Ukraine and is still seeking an agreement that meets Moscow’s goals.

Russia’s negotiating position has become more stringent, because its leadership believes that the situation on the battlefield is improving in their favor.

During yesterday’s three-hour meeting in Moscow with U.S. representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Putin showed no signs of Russia being prepared to drop or soften its core demands.
