The UAE Ministry of Defence says the country’s air defenses are countering missile and drone attacks by the Islamic Republic.

In a statement by the ministry, it said that sounds heard in different parts of the UAE are the result of the operations of the country’s air defense systems to counter ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.

In the statement it published on its X account, the UAE Ministry of Defence asked the public to remain calm, follow the safety guidelines issued by officials, and not approach debris or parts resulting from these operations; not touch them and not take photos of them.
