U.S. forces have ended new attacks on Iranian military targets
Tampa, Florida — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) ended the latest round of attacks on Iran at 10:15 p.m. on July 13, U.S. Eastern Time (05:45 Iran time).
During this five-hour mission, U.S. forces successfully targeted military sites throughout Iran, including in Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Kangan, Abu Musa, and Bandar Abbas, to further reduce Iran’s ability to attack commercial ships. CENTCOM forces used precision-guided munitions against coastal defense systems, missile and drone positions, and Iran’s naval capabilities.
At present, more than 50,000 U.S. military personnel are deployed across the Middle East. U.S. forces remain vigilant, lethal, and ready.
