U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, announced on the X social network that the country’s navy continues to enforce a strict maritime blockade of Iran.

According to CENTCOM, by September 2, coinciding with 11 Shahrivar, U.S. forces diverted 86 commercial ships, disabled three ships, and boarded two ships to ensure compliance with the blockade.
