The U.S. Army announced that CENTCOM ended the 13th consecutive night of attacks on targets of the Islamic Republic at 4:30 a.m. on Friday, Iran time.
Command centers, drone storage sites, communications networks, coastal surveillance sites, and naval capabilities were listed as the declared targets.
At the same time, official sources and local reports said there was an attack or explosions were heard in Ahvaz, Khorramabad, Khondab, Bandar Abbas, and several other areas, along with air defense activity in Tehran.
Hormozgan officials confirmed that two people were injured in Bandar Abbas. CENTCOM says the Strait of Hormuz remains open and that more than 50,000 U.S. military personnel are deployed in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, i24News reported that if Israel expands the targets of the U.S. to the Iranian government and the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, it is prepared to join the attacks. ASEAN also called for restraint and for preserving freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
