The situation around the seized Russian vessel Professor Molchanov is far from being resolved, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

“In fact, this is a seizure, this is sheer piracy of the 21st century,” Zakharova emphasized.

The diplomat accused the Norwegian government of attempting to obstruct the work of Russian operators on Svalbard and said that Moscow would respond to these actions.
