The Public Relations of the “Seyyed al-Shohada” IRGC in Tehran Province announced on Saturday, 14 Shahrivar, that the sound of an explosion reportedly heard in the area of Damavand County during the past hours was related to educational and drill programs titled “Heydar Karar.”

Based on this report, the sounds heard were generated within the framework of pre-determined drills and the related educational activities.

This comes while earlier there had been no information released about the reported explosion sound or the holding of the drills.

The public relations office of the IRGC in Tehran Province added that if information about these drills is announced by the competent authorities, it will be publicized.
