The New York Times, citing several sources, reported that U.S. officials, while Donald Trump, the U.S. president, was leaving the NATO meeting in Turkey, reviewed a credible threat against him and Air Force One.

According to the report, the assessment by U.S. officials was that Iran’s proxy forces targeted Trump and the aircraft carrying him.

The New York Times wrote that, after assessing this threat, Trump suddenly changed his plane.
