The Israeli army announced that it has targeted “Muhammad Mahmoud Murshid al-Qadi,” the commander of a company from Hamas’s military wing’s elite forces who played a role in the October 7 attack on the Sufa base.
In its statement, the Israeli army said that during the war, this individual took part in protecting the location where Israeli hostages were being held.
Based on this report, al-Qadi was responsible for training Hamas forces and worked to rebuild and restore the capabilities of this “terrorist organization.”
The Times of Israel also reported that the operation to target this Hamas commander was carried out on Wednesday, the 11th of Shahrivar, in Khan Younis, and that he was killed as a result of the operation.
