The committee drafting the transitional justice plan of Prince Reza Pahlavi’s team, chaired by Shirin Ebadi, in a statement addressed to the commanders and perpetrators of the executions of protesters by the Islamic Republic, warned that each and every one of them will be held accountable without leniency.

Transitional justice plan drafting committee: “From those who issue orders to those who carry out the rulings, each and every one of you will be held accountable. We will show no mercy and we will use all of the legal tools available to pursue you and impose the maximum legally permissible punishments according to the law.”

Transitional justice plan drafting committee: “Every execution adds to your criminal responsibility. Do not imagine that these crimes will be forgotten, that you will be immune from punishment, or that you will be subject to amnesty. Our silence means that we are preparing to try you.”
