🔺Romania reports the destruction of the second drone that violated the airspace of this country

▪Romania said on Saturday that it had shot down a second drone that had entered the airspace of the country over the past two days, in a sparsely populated area near the border with Ukraine.

▪This is the second instance of an airspace violation by Romania within two consecutive days. Romania, a NATO member, had also shot down a drone on Friday that prosecutors in the country determined—after examining the wreckage—to be Russian.

▪The Romanian Ministry of Defense, without pointing to the origin of the drone shot down on Saturday, said that the projectile was detected at 8:22 a.m. by radar systems and that two F-16 fighter jets took off to intercept it.
