Reuters, citing satellite images, reported observing a smoke column near the East-West oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia.

So far, Saudi Arabia has not issued any report about an incident near its oil lines.

Reuters said Saudi officials and the oil company Aramco did not comment, but the authenticity of the satellite images has been confirmed by the news agency.

The East-West oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia is of great importance to the country after military tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, as it enables Saudi Arabia to send its oil from the eastern coasts to the Red Sea.
