🔺Report: Escalation of violations of women’s rights in Iran in the first half of this year

▪Human rights organizations have reported the continuation and escalation of violations of women’s rights in Iran in the first half of 2026 (from Dey 1404 to Khordad 1405). According to these reports, during this period, hundreds of women were killed or detained in the course of protests and security operations, and at the same time, harsh sentences, including execution, imprisonment, and flogging, were issued against dozens of female activists. The figures also indicate an increase in cases of femicide and the continued execution of death sentences for women in Iranian prisons.
