I took my phone and called the deputy defense minister and the head of the Shoppers’ organization. I hung it on the line—I set him at attention [sp?]. He said, “Come in person, and I will apologize.” He said that anyone who does not provide you with services because of lack of hijab is doing something wrong, and we will deal with them; and the government does not allow that, because of not wearing a hijab, anyone be denied services.
