Mourad Vaisi, senior analyst at Iran International, said: “It appears that the combination of a threat of a broad U.S. attack, pressure resulting from the cutoff of oil exports, the blockade of ports, and the intensification of the gasoline crisis has pushed the Islamic Republic toward temporarily accepting negotiations and stopping attacks.”
