Mohammadreza Bahonar, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council, said: «My analysis is that a full-scale military war will no longer happen. It’s possible that sometimes they fire a shot and we fire a shot, but that a serious military war would break out and they would bomb Tehran and Isfahan will not happen.»

He said: «I have reasoning and evidence for this analysis; because if we consider all the attacks they have carried out so far and place their inputs and outputs on the scale in these clashes, then what they have lost is more than what they have gained.»
