🔸Kuwait: A power plant and desalination facilities have been attacked

The Kuwaiti army said in a statement on Sunday, July 19 (28 Tir): “Kuwait’s air defense, following Iran’s aggression, is currently working to counter missile and drone attacks.”

Kuwaiti officials also said that Iran’s attack on Sunday on a power generation plant and desalination facilities in Kuwait has caused fires for the second consecutive day.

Bahrain, which hosts the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet, said: “The air defense of this country has countered a number of Iranian air attacks, intercepting and destroying them.”

The Bahrain army also accused Iran of “targeting civilians in its attacks.”

In the early hours of Sunday, Iran’s army said that in response to America’s attacks on Iranian territory, it had targeted two U.S. bases in Kuwait with drone attacks.
