With increased economic pressure, the likelihood of an attack by the Islamic Republic on Israel increases
Israel Katz, Israel’s defense minister, warned that intensifying economic pressures on the Islamic Republic could increase the likelihood of Tehran again attacking Israel.
Katz said: “The more economic pressure is put on Iran, the more the chance increases that they will attack us.”
Pointing to the approach of Jewish holidays, he added that the Islamic Republic has, in the past, chosen such occasions for attacks and said: “They want to attack during Jewish holidays.”
The Israeli defense minister emphasized that the country’s army is on defensive and offensive readiness for various scenarios and that coordination with the United States also
Katz warned that if the Islamic Republic attacks, Israel will respond and said: “Our aircraft are ready to take off.”
