❌❌ Israel’s Army (IDF) Reveals: Palestinian Footballers Who Were Introduced Worldwide Only as Athletes Were Actually Members of Terrorist Organizations in the Gaza Strip
In recent weeks, false claims have been published according to which the Israel Army intentionally targeted innocent Palestinian footballers during the war.
Following these claims, the Israel Army is now disclosing the identities of a number of Palestinian footballers, referees, and coaches who had been presented as athletes and innocent civilians, but in practice had been members of the military wing of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (Islamic Jihad) in the Gaza Strip and were killed during the war by the Israel Army.
After intelligence reviews, it is now possible to reveal the organizational affiliation and responsibilities of these terrorists; despite the fact that in many cases, they were introduced internationally merely as footballers and no mention was made of their membership in terrorist organizations.
A fake campaign that accused the Israel Army of intentionally attacking people in the football field and was part of the efforts by various actors against the Government of Israel is placed alongside other similar campaigns that were promoted during the war. In those campaigns, Palestinian terrorists killed by the Israel Army were presented as journalists, employees of aid institutions, or owners of other businesses, and their role in terrorist activities was kept hidden—aiming to promote the false claim that these individuals were targeted because of their “non-military” professional activity.
The Israel Army will continue to expose similar cases in order to present all facts completely and to refute claims that do not reflect reality.
