Ismail Baqaei, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the exchange of messages between the Islamic Republic and the United States, as well as the activities of mediators, is still ongoing.

He added: Tehran’s priority in the current situation is to defend sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the protection of the people, and for any kind of dialogue, a suitable environment must first be provided.
