The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that, in response to the U.S. Army’s attack on three oil tankers belonging to the Islamic Republic, it targeted the three oil tankers on «unauthorized» routes through the Strait of Hormuz and three vessels associated with the United States in other areas.
